Why do apps use our locations, device storage, and access, etc|Techbells|Future eye
Basically, when we installed a new application it asks for some of the following permissions like media, location, text, etc. All the people who are reading this article surely faced this incident. Many of them did not even bother about that but some people will definitely check why it is asking so. In this article, I would like to give a brief description of why newly installed applications ask for permission.
Check out why the applications ask for Permission.
Before going into the topic let me tell you how can Google maps are such clear about the traffic queue. Did you ever notice this? Not only have this many of the people thought that without google their life is unsustainable. But how can Google know all your details that your partner does not know that much about you? Simple thing Google always tracks your every step. Of course, it’s a known fact. But there are no records saying that Google misused one’s personal info. In the same way, the other applications will ask you for certain permissions to track you or to do their jobs automatically without your involvement.
Apps like Zomato, Swiggy asks for the location permission as they can track you and deliver the food for you. They made the things simpler by tracking if not, you should have to encrypt the address, location, and all the required steps. While coming to media access it is also not the correct thing to give access to some of the apps upon media. Because some applications can ask you for the media access because they need to check or upload your photo which is located in your gallery. But some apps may contain malware they can use your device functioning in the wrong way too.
Now I thought you got some clarification upon this. However, the applications only ask access to certain things like location, Device, Media, etc to make things easier for you. On the other hand, people also say that it is also not that much safety as your personal information is going to someone's wallet and if they are going to misuse this happens? You can conclude the question with the simple phrase coin has two sides and the Android phone too.
